Routine Cleanings
Brushing at least twice a day and flossing at least once a day are important for your dental health, but your oral hygiene routine cannot provide complete protection against tooth decay and gum disease. The American Dental Association recommends professional checkups and dental cleanings every 6 months. Routine dental cleanings prevent plaque buildup from wreaking havoc on your oral health.
Our hygienist, Kari, will remove built-up plaque and calcified plaque, also known as tarter or calculus. She will also check for signs of gum disease and other oral health issues. Kari will clean your teeth with your comfort in mind and address any concerns you have, so you can leave with a healthy smile and that silky-smooth feeling.
